I've got a home made one ... turntable cover filled with water, 4 air bricks, a cloth on top and a fan behind blowing through the brick channels. ... it's still 28. 31 in the bedroom. Picked up an old aldi brochure today (from a bag on the floor) that I took on the way out the last time I frequented one of their stores 24th of June. 'Offer' for the 4th of July - a 10 huroes 10watt air conditioner - square black cube, about the size of a (square) football. I thought, well that's just great .. seeing as I gave up going to aldi from that visit and never looked in the brochure as I left the shop 3 weeks ago.
