Those in dire straits have this refunded or waived If not employed you can voluntarily pay a fixed sum, which is not much. It’s free to BVI and UK citizens over 65 but you pay the 10%. It’s pretty good. If care not available here they pay for you to go abroad. Yesterday the MD went over to USVI for a bone density scan not available here. NHI paid 90%.
