I don't know, I guess yes as I worked since 1980. a bit patchy as I did two years cash in hand 82-84 for my step dad (twat) who was a partner 50/50 with Patsy McCarthey, civil engineering, based in St Pauls, Bristol... - worked on Wolverhapmton ring road digging trench and laying GPO cable carrying pipe, building massive manholes, and elsewhere around the country. Then three years in Israel 85-88, 88-89 1 years paying in, then 2 years at college, and 3 yrs taxi driving during 3 of those 2 years. 1992 to 2006 I was paying into the system, so overall, maybe 17 years paid in. I should get something now seeing as I've got serious physical issues .. but never got in touch with work and pensions to ask. It's on my list of things to do. But I guess another 7 years, .. i'll be 67 and they'll have raised it to 69 ...
