Was cycling back from the port, stopped in the Parc du Paillion, which is built above the river here. I stopped 50m into the park by a bench, checked phone for messages. Police on Segway approaches and tells me it's 'strictment interdit' to ride in the park. I pointed out that I was 50m inside the park. I FELT like saying, look you Effin moron, see those guys over there, the African migrants who just arrived from Italia ? Why not focus of them, rather than an old white guy on a bike... FFS.... ? But I didn't.
