I was sat in the middle on a BA flight from Barcelona recently. Horrible. I forgot to input my AAnumber on the booking. Normally I get free advance choice of any seat and 3 pieces of luggage at reduced rates plus First Class check in and security and access to the first class lounge. So I won’t forget again. I would say that Ryan Air is better than BA unless you have that kind of privileges. I would actually fly Ryan Air again. Just pay the bit extra for the leg room sears and take your own lunch and it’s acceptable for short haul.
