The real medical scandal of the ages is over prescription. Every time I go to the doctors, more often these
days but mostly for check ups, thet take my blood pressure. Sometimes it’s perfect. Sometimes it’s high. When it’s high the quack always bleats about blood thinning drugs. Having had a 24 hour monitor I know I don’t need them. My friend Anne and another person I know both had strokes recently, both were on blood thinners. The hospital where Anne went stopped her from taking more. Ignorant knee jerk doctors think spot high blood pressure readings are significant, they are not. Watch yourself.
