Interesting. I bought 2 pinapples (ananas) yesterday from Lidl. "Made in costa Rica"

The price of the fruit was also interesting. 1,99!

and I was wondering what to do with them. I'd like to plant tree in the back garden with one. But I then see this article and this photo and think well that's interesting ... and yes, do keep eggs in the fridge in summer.

kilo of coffee beans 18huroes, probably the best stanley knife i've ever owned, 3 hurooes. Despite denying myself many treats I still managed to spend 120€, as I left the cashier desk I scanned the receipt.. it seemed to be in order, 2 x 2kilo bags of 'potoatos for chips' 6 hurooes, 4 cans of baked beans (800 gram) 4 hooroooes, bottle of balsamic vinegar one huru 59, 2 loaves of bread 3,24!! dozen decent eggs 2,88, 4 packs of lardons, 7€. 5 'quid' for two 250 gram packs of butter, 2˘ for a bag of hot chillies, apples, bananas, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, mushrooms, some pasta, pasta sauces, two packets of biscuits, one bottle of beer.

Basically if I took out the 15 cans of cat food and the coffee I'd have paid 86. No cheese, no fish, no beef, no pizza, no wine, no ice cream, no turkey twizzlers, no knock off Hrgen Dass, no Thai ready meals, no yak milk protein egg truffle, no operation barbarossa, no chicken (as I've already got one in the freezer), but yes two KONG energy drinks, a box of electrical connections, shrink plastic wire shielding and a packet of three lighters.

In theory the stuff I bought should last me at least 2weeks if I cook like a Sikh mother and live like a Budhist monk on training.
