4 years been here and just discovered a new footpath that crosses a nice trout stream where you can sit on the banks (and tickle trout 😗) and its 200 yards from my house! Unmarked from the road but my friend who’s staying was peering at the OS map and spotted it. 🐶 jumped straight in the stream and is now smelling very damp….. Lovely day for a walk, blessed with the location. Walked past the old Rectory which is a sizeable gaff and has some lovely shire horses 🐴 in the grounds. Another footpath he tried was blocked by some lovely travellers with dogs so he didn’t investigate further.
