What a mess. No mention of Israel, which likely needed a breather. What have they got out of it?? Not a fukcing lot but quite a bit of pain. This is great news though, even if only for two weeks... But it could signal the end, full stop. It's over and done. Iran will get a nuclear weapon, Israel will learn to live with it, China has risen and USA has had to recalibrated its status to at least joint cock of the north with Chyna. The allinace in the east is a natural fact and it's good news USA won't be wasting anymore tax payers money blowing up the belt and road rail lines in east Iran. Total petrol prices ... not sure they'll rise now. Main story on mail highlights Donald Trump announced last night that Iran has agreed to a two-week ceasefire and will reopen the Strait of Hormuz, after Tehran submitted a ten-point peace plan to end the war. The US President posted on Truth Social: 'I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks,' after earlier sparking doomsday fears when he threatened to wipe out its 'entire civilization' if it did not reopen the Strait. Trump said that after talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, he had been assured that Iran would agree 'to the complete, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz.' 'This will be a double-sided ceasefire,' Trump wrote. 'The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive agreement concerning long-term peace with Iran.' In a later post, the US President hailed 'a big day for world peace' after agreeing to pause the attacks. Iran has 'had enough' of the conflict, the US president said on Truth Social, and there will now be 'lots of positive action'. Israel also agreed to halt attacks on Iran for two weeks, a senior White House official told Axios, with the ceasefire taking effect once the Strait of Hormuz is reopened. Maybe the 'west' will now go back to fighting Putin full-tine again. He wants Odessa. Heard last night the country will likely end up with one big fence along the border. I thought, yeah, drone patrolled.
