Those plastic English notes are fcuking awful. Once again I managed a 2 week visit without using any. A place where Britain still leads the world ( fintech ) and immensely popular with tourists who avoid the rip off exchange shops and the pita of going there. ( obviously the card cos rip them off too but it’s less obvious)
