You haven't had a headache since I was 19? That is remarkable. At that time, in 1983 I was still messing

about with CB radio. Thrilling to think of now. I went under the alias 'Bacon Slicer'. Also had an old Lancia Beta. Rotten as hell but an incredible double cam engine.
It was a tremendous era, one I forged ahead in: surfing in Cornwall (lying down flat style) using CB radio still, and a year of being able to drive and move around on British roads.
While not earth shattering events certainly important ones I think all will agree.
Great year great year 1983, my last year as a teenager. It followed on seamlessly from 82, a year I turned 18. Too young to be an average death statistic in Vietnam, which was somewhat ironic as at the time Paul Hardcastle was riding high in the Top 40 with his hit, nnnnnnnnn 19.
Sure it was also the last year you got a headache but as I wasn't personally involved in terms of global record keeping it's unlikely to make it to any (or many) history books.
.. unless .... you write the book .....
