Bought a pair of Nike and a pair of Reebok in HK in about ‘88. In Mong Kok where there is a street of shops selling nothing but daps. On return to 🇬🇧 every time I wore them in London people of a tanned complexion would ask me where I got them. Always a trendsetter!
