First of July. 62 yrs ago in 1964 I was just over 2 weeks old. It was 20 years and 3weeks since the D Day invasion. A feat that cost tax payers a lot of money, following on from the money they'd paid for World War 1 that began 50 years before my arrival. I have now been alive 12 years longer than the distance between my birth and the start of world war 1, which as I say cost a fking fortune. Where has all the money gone?
