First night in new gaff, or half of it to be precise.. Very peaceful. Not completing until Monday but the old girl and her sisters ( she is in the other half of house ) suggested it as an alternative to hotel. So far, so good. Growing list of jobs that will keep me busy. Some interesting features like a Loop ( arrow slit ) for when ze Germans / Portuguese / Mujahedeen / Hashasheen / Russians attack. . And a ventilation hole in the floor at the bottom of staircase. Reinforced glass defeats the object so I think some kind of mesh to stop visitors falling through the gap 😂 Also some wicked tile designs that will have to go . . 2 & 3 over next week, will get them on painting duties.
