One of my two current english students ... looked at his rug yesterday, (which my chair was upon).. about 15' x 9' Nice rug that. Yes, we bought it at auction. How much? 500 euros. Not giving it away then. Would have been 10 times that new. (it's at least 50 years old, my estimate) I lift the corner of rug beneath my chair, where handily the legend was visible on a label, 'Made in Iran' Beautiful colours, not washed out by sunlight and years of use.
