"Pace of change impudently high & planet will exact revenge." says man retired at 60, with Lotus in garage and assorted other his n her runarounds, taking multi-annual flights to jet off and care for his olives in the 2nd or 3rd home and whose supermarket and clothes budget for a family of 3 shows a bigger carbon footprint than combined entire east coast African tribes. A man who attends state of the art high carbon footprint Guild dinners as a member of the Skinners, one of 12 guilds granted 'guild' status on account of the wonga and death and destruction extracted from New York and beaver pelts. A man who lives high on the hog thanks to his company's destruction of nature for the last 400 years, with multiple cars homes heat pumps and enormous shopping trollies filled with airline tickets and destinations to other homes, a strong supporter of various never ending destructive inflation inducing wars and various 'cures' to man-made gain of function illnesses and mass plastic usage. This man tells us, with no hint of irony, " .. pace of change impudently high and the planet will exact revenge." So I guess look out for earthquakes and floods near Hampshire, Greece, and City of London then. That's fine.
