Back in ten years , as I said at the time…
Starmer’s Brexit reset would hand power to EU Labour will introduce a Brexit bill later this year, allowing the UK to participate in ‘dynamic alignment’ with bloc
Sir Keir Starmer is planning new Brexit legislation that would allow Britain to hand power to the EU without a vote from MPs.
Labour will introduce a Brexit bill later this year, which will allow the UK to participate in “dynamic alignment” with the EU under Sir Keir’s reset with Brussels.
The law will underpin various deals Downing Street is hoping to strike with the bloc, including an agreement on food and veterinary standards reached last year.
Since Brexit, new standards introduced by the EU on goods and services no longer automatically become part of UK law, which Brexiteers say allows MPs to take back control of domestic legislation
