'My Priest told me this story, I don’t know the actual origins... A newly married couple came to the priest and asked for his advise. The bride said that she was so happy to have converted to the faith and wanted the same thing for her parents who had no experience with the Christianity. She thought it might be helpful if they sent her parents to the Holy Land to experience the place where Jesus walked and lived. The priest thought that was a very generous offer and it certainly couldn’t hurt. And so they sent the parents to Jerusalem. The very first night they were there, the father had a massive heart attack and died. The wife didn’t know what to do, so the authorities let her know her options. “We’re so sorry for your loss and here’s where we can help you. We have the Potters field where we can bury foreigners and we can do that for you, it is just a minor nominal fee. Or we can help you transport your late husband back to the USA, however that is very sizable sum. Either way we will assist you anyway we can. The woman asked if she could consider those options and decide the next day, they said that would be fine. The next day they returned and asked how they could help. She said she’s decided to pay to have the husband transported back home. “Of course we’ll help you with that, May I ask, was there anything that had a strong influence on your decision?” She replied. “I’ve been asking around and have heard about this guy who died and three days later came back to life… I just can’t take that chance!.”
