Re long distance trains, took the Beijing to Shanghai sleeper on my first trip in summer 2006. About 12 hours. Trains are very conducive to sleep. Much quicker now but I like the romance of the sleeper train. Did Nice to Rome, Paris to Chamonix. London to Glasgow. And Beijing to Suizhong. Edited on 19/05/2026 at 17:44:50.
