I remember it well.My first wine bar had been open for 18 months and was coining it. I-was living in Kensington working on a big deal that we won and paid commission of around £250k at todays prices of which the Labour government took 92.5% . In 1977 I fcuked off for the first time. By 1979 the country was truly fcuked , rubbish in the streets, everyone on strike. But then came Thatcher. Edited on 28/09/2026 at 14:11:24.
