Plane collapses on tarmac at German airport Cabin crew and ground staff injured after Lufthansa Dreamliner’s landing gear buckled in Frankfurt passenger jet collapsed on to its nose at Germany’s largest airport on Thursday, injuring several people. The incident at Frankfurt Airport occurred shortly before passengers were due to board the Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, scheduled to fly to Los Angeles.
