HO yes! I did it this am, and then a bit later! although one ankle at a time. I've noticed some big improvements
compared to 6 months ago .. or even 2 months ago when I began work on getting the volvo through the control technique. I can now balance on left leg to put on a sock, also, lift right leg when sat in chair or on side of bed (to put sock on). For about 6 months now I guess, no big bulging lump at the bottom of my spine!!! that I had for years. The base of my spine is now similar to Kim Kardashians, ie smooth and sculpted, compared to what it was this time last year, and for at least 8 years before that, more like John Merrick's. However, I am now dealing with pain in my right hip, and it seems to be getting worse. But I'll continue with the overall strategy of rebuilding myself from the ground up in the 'can't make an omlette iwthoug breaking eggs vein. My neck and shoulder a lot better too these last 2 monts. .. but as I sit here now typing this, my right hip joint is aching ... but hamstrings ankles and knees (and toes, curl the toes. Mine have become increasingly bent out but are now looking straighter) can offset this hip pain. THat's what I'm banking on anyway.
Great to hear you do the ankle workout. Ftdoughnut's wife also swears by 'something similar' of a mornin'.
ps last week, a one legged plank almost killed me to lift right leg off floor and support with left leg. Today, I held for 20 seconds. And not that much bother!
