Last time, a couple of weeks ago.. Police boarded the train at Menton Caravan - 1st station in France, as they always do. Passed down the train, asked everyone to produce their ID / passport. Showed them my passport, Mrs FTD produced her Titre de Sejour. Police officer told her she should also carry her passport. But then passed down the car. I did tell her, but the chef knows best.
