Lost my cat today. For the 2nd time but this time permanently as I won't see him again after I bury him

tomorrow.
Tom. Called round to see a friend in my old st. he asks me if I've seen my old neighbour, no i say. Tom's died, this am he tells me. I go down and speak to my old neighbour, she'd called on me yesterday when I was out, he died this morning. He was not even 8, but had fallen ill saturday, wasn't eating died 24 hours later.
He stopped coming here after the kitten from a litter grew up, got pregnant and chased him away when her kittens arrived, more than once. He just went back to where we used to live and stopped coming round. I've not seen him for about 8 months. (haven't been round to my ex neighbour just to see him.)

march 2020, when there was just him and the 3 brothers who'd arrived when we were still at the old place.

2020 again. All these cats now gone. Chewy, Big White, Star, now Tom.

14th of June 2018, Tom looking at camera. About to leave the nest.

End of August 2018. He made an appearance on the board.

13th of October [I'm glad I went through these pictures to post here.}

[that's enough for one night, ed]
