As an aside. Would either of our French residents potentially be prepared, for a consideration of course,
to provide notional accomodation for No 1 son?
He would like to be able to travel freely in the EU (and by extension Andorra) in the future but the 90 day rule thing is going to bugger him up (he likes to spend the whole ski season in Andorra, or at least come and go as he likes with no restrictions)
There is an extended tourist visa available in France which seems quite easy to get but one of the requirements is that you have to show you have accomodation. Apparently all you need for that is a letter from whoever is saying they'll put you up to say that you're staying with them (presumably it will have to stand up to basic scrutiny, ie, that person is resident in France and the address exists).
Any takers? Few bob in it.
