It's actually a very good service Basically you can load up whatever currency you have and use it to pay in whatever currency you need wherever happen to find yourself, and the exchange rates are very keen (close to market rates even for small amounts) Also facilitate payments just as you would with a bank account (you get an iban no and a sort code if in the UK) You can also use it to buy shares, crypto, etc Good for online payments because you're only exposed to whatever balance you've put on there and you can set up virtual cards and then delete them (instantly) I cancelled mine because they started asking me what my tax residences are and they don't need to know that for payment of 500 quid or less. Use Wise now which is similar, probably not quite as good.
