In February 2026, Sir Lindsay Hoyle made a historic three-day official visit to the British Virgin Islands (BVI). During this trip, he met with the following individuals and groups:
Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley: The Premier and Minister of Finance, who invited Sir Lindsay to the territory.
Hon. Corine George-Massicote: The Speaker of the House of Assembly (HoA).
Members of the House of Assembly: Sir Lindsay addressed a special sitting of the House and met with both Government and Opposition members.
Junior Minister for Financial Services: As part of a series of targeted ministerial meetings.
Director of Disaster Management: To discuss territorial resilience.
Permanent Secretary (Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change): Focused on environmental and climate issues.
Minister for Education, Youth Affairs and Sports: Part of his final day of official appointments.
Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF): Sir Lindsay met with officers and conducted a tour of their facilities.
Past Speakers of the HoA: An engagement hosted by Speaker George-Massicote specifically for current and former legislative leaders.
