I've accrued 70 odd trimestres (3 month work periods) of work in france since 2007, which equates to a
whopping 450/month entitlement. The final balance of 1050 is arrived at via an 'allocation de solidarité de personnes âgée' [ASPA] acronym. UK I worked 1980 to 2006, but 3 years in Israel, 2 years in higher education as a mature student, and maybe 4 working on the black/out of work = about 16years of stamp contributions. In any event if UK do make some payment the French will reduce it this end. I received a letter from HRMC in September saying French been in touch and if I could confirm perso details. Not heard anything back from them since. I can retire at 62 as 'recognized arthritic issues'. Otherwise, would be 64. (They are aware of this in UK,.. but 'on verra', we'll see, not a lot of money to spare as needed to build council houses for Somalians with 18kidz)
1000/month = breadline living but I can still add to the monthly fortune giving english lessons, and selling amps, two of which I've sold since new years day) ...... course selling the house and buying 40k of silver when under 30 18months ago would have been ideal but what you going to do/
