It’s brutal surgery. Uncle of mine (fit chap, PT instructor in Army, professional water polo player) had his done. Surgeon told him to do some walking. He went back a week later, surgeon asked him if he’d been walking…. Yes, I’m back to 20 miles a day… Wore the replacement out, had that done again. Died late 80s and had his wake in the gym he went to daily. If you want her to get it done, play on the “it’ll be a larger procedure if you don’t get it done soon” nagging.
