The girl’s mother told The Sun she ran away but was followed into a cul-de-sac, where she banged on front doors for help before a motorist came to her rescue. Gould, who stood as a parliamentary candidate for Labour in 2015, was arrested later that day after the incident in Romford, east London. On Monday, he appeared at Barkingside magistrates court and pleaded guilty to it and another count of indecent exposure, which involved the flashing of a 25-year-old woman in Hornchurch last month.
