Long day on the beach, followed by very late luncheon at the Pig on the Beach. Full of naughty weekend couples and posh family birthday parties. Fairly decent nosh, prices toppish but ok. Beach was busy but civilised and the sea was clean and surprisingly warm (17C). Not often we get a free Saturday with all Hamlet’s activities.
