Sunday in Pago Pago. (Yesterday was Sunday in Samoa. ) American Samoa of which Pago Pago is the capital, is incredibly lush with vegetation , trees creepers, coconuts etc etc. A very nice natural harbour is where PP is located. We took a drive around this morning. Few beaches but lots of coves and waterside villages. Many of which have lots of empty houses as the population has moved out to Hawaii and the USA leaving only 47,000 here on a quite big island , way bigger than BVI. Main , probably only industry is Tuna fishing with a large fishing dock and adjacent cannery. Star Kist which you may see in your local supermarket. Edited on 14/07/2025 at 02:15:21.
