You know why my house has taken a long time to 'do up'? 1) money 2) cash 3) funds 4) finance 5) difficult logistics - no access to back garden except via traversing 8 meter lounge then up 80cm into 7 meter long kitchen 6) poor health 7) house in a 'no you can't do that either no' zone de merde. 8) that's it, apart from 9) not being able to get the french Yellow Pages out and call a builder to just appear and do everything for me because of 1) 2) 3) & 4). [I'm all for sitting back and paying a builder to carry out my every whim, totally fine with it, not against my religion or anything. Neither am I not a maniac skin-flint who begrudges an honest day's pay for an honest day's work,.. nor do I 'need the practice'. I could have called a Divoc builer in in December 2020 and got it all sorted by my birthday in 2021, or before you could say, 'have you had your 2nd booster??'
