Our brave officers have destroyed this wild animal threat… Donkey foal shot dead by US police HeeHaw’s owner says ‘frightened’ officer tried to taser animal then killed it A donkey foal has been shot dead in the US by police who feared they were in danger when it started to bray. The animal, named HeeHaw, which was bottle-raised from birth at Elsberry Farm in Rockmart, Georgia, was in its field on Sunday night when officers arrived looking for a missing child. Hannah Israel, its owner, said they first tried to taser the animal then shot it dead. An officer from Cedartown police department has been placed on leave while an investigation takes place.
