You need some decent speakers to go with the akai. DOes the Sonos have speakers? I've got teh akai playing through two pairs, Kef 104/2 floorstanders and a pair of DAnish Scan Dyna I forget the name. To be fair the Sonos does offer a lot, but then with a TV you get a lot of that as well as a moving picture. In theroy you could buy 10 akais, sell 9 of them and with the profit get the sonos, the TV, and a new kitchen. (you do need a new kitchcn)
