It's times like this we need to get out the gravity calculator. Again clear cut case of gravity being the villain but as usual no action will be taken against the force of nature. No court in the land will act, the crime will go unpunished. Let's examine the facts. Height of bar - 2.5 meters TIme of fall to cover 2.5 meters - 0.7 seconds SPeed of impact (velocity) - 7 meters a second. Mitigating circumstances: rubber mat, rubber-like body. Gravity did not force this athlete to take it on. THe athelit chose to do it of his own free will therefore in this case no charges will be bought (against gravity) AS he lies up recovering he shoud be thankful the bar height was not 5 miles. If this were the case he would have fallen for 40 seconds and hit the rubber mat at 397 meters per second, or 888mph.
