My yank mate Bobs father did that on his 16th birthday. Got in his open cockpit plane in Fort Lauderdale flew him to Havana and took him to his favourite brothel. Chuck was the dads name ( same as my father ) I became very friendly with him in the 80s driving him around in his pristine Monte Carlo and eating with at his fave blue plate restaurants in Key Largo after his long time wife died .He was my age then and kinda like me now , built a new house with his own hands at 80, flew to Japan to buy the door which he had seen on a visit there. Once widowed drove to Denver to find his childhood sweetheart , married her and pissed his whole fortune into living a completely luxury lifestyle like living in the owners cabin on cruise lines for 3 months at a time. Read his first book at 91 ( unlike me ) died just short of his hundredth birthday. Chuck Casper RIP
