He's got a table and 4 chairs with a pendant light over it. A big map stuck on the wall with drawing pins. A kind of upright cupboard. Plus his desk and I assume a chair he's sitting on. When you throw in the microphone with an on/off switch and assume the carpet is wall to wall it adds up to carefully staged set from which to deliver views in dulcet tones. He began working for Florida Tyre and Exhaust Centre when he left school in 1986 but began working as a journalist after quitting the tyre and exhaust replacement world in early 2019.
