Southport killer ‘had picture of Jihadi John on his tablet’ Inquiry told images of Islamic State terrorist found on Rudakubana’s device and of teacher’s warning he could pose ‘huge risk’
The Southport attacker who killed three children at a dance class had a picture of Jihadi John on his tablet, an inquiry has heard.
In an opening statement to the Southport inquiry, Nicholas Moss KC, said police found “very disturbing” images and screenshots on Axel Rudakubana’s device, including images of the Islamic State terrorist, Adolf Hitler and other pictures of graphic injuries, slavery, mistreatment of women and Nazi Germany.
The inquiry at Liverpool Town Hall also heard that a teacher who worked with Rudakubana warned he could be “easily radicalised” and would be a “huge risk to others” more than three years before the Southport attack.
