True enough. Thing is, what I see over there is how i imagined Britain was around the mid 80s. Suspect that a similar story is about to play out over the next generation. Very tempted to get stuck in for a year or 3 just to see what happens. And for motivation, things look increasingly grim in the UK. Not entirely convinced that Trump, well meaning that he is, can prevent a wider war in Ukraine (forced conscription etc). Let's face it, Europe is in the sh1t financially and ww3 would be a thrilling distraction from their problems. Edited on 26/04/2025 at 17:16:14.
