I've bookmarked that. You may recal I was a fan of the Asian squat, and as recently as ... i dunno, early

this year, I could do it.
Then, in March I began my on floor workouts and although I could do the squat my left leg had been bad getting worse since it began to be painful in 2016.
LIfting right leg to put sock on, couldn't do it. SO right hip, left knee. I had a baker's cyst behind the left knee since about 2018ish.

Update. post march 2026

I can no longer do the aisian squat. I cannot bend my left knee fully. WAy too much pain although I push it but not too far. DOn't abuse it.

Right hip, much freer can lift it to chin when sat in chair or on side of bed to put sock on but still not as free and easy as the left leg.

However, if from the same seated position I extend my leg (lift foot off floor to straighten leg) it's easy peasy no problem with right leg, but twitch, painful, hesitant, with left (knee)

Lower back post march beginning of realighment treatement diy : better. I did have a large lump sticking out of my lower back, that's now only visible when sat as I am now and leaning forward (to type) If I stand my posture is better. ANd lower back looks better. \\\

Neck and shoulder pain. I think I've cracked it, but it comes back. MOst recently about a month ago. And still dealing with it. But overall better than it has been since 2014. ie, when it's gone it's gone., problem is it can come back just from me moving or lying or twisting (compressed cervical vertebra = always a problem waiting to happen. WOrking under a car for example.)

GEttoing left knee right absolute priority though as everything else pales into somewhere or other in comparrison. You literally can do nothing when you can't walk.

re: the wife's MS. I do get spots in front of my eyes occasionally. Had it for at least 10 years. If it happened when I was teaching on skype. .. tricky. Couldn't read text. Only solution , lie down turn off screen. Been bugged with ear ache last 4 years but that's kind of gone away. I dunno. I feel moaning about it however increases the liklihood that I'll pull through and go on to live an active and productive life (writing about bitcoin combacks and the middle east, as well as reroofing my barn and killing the capricorn beetle that is currently chewing into my oak beam roof. (got the product, and got the syringe,.. just building up the strength to attack it via ladders etc)

Curling up in a corner of the house is not good medicine. DOing leg stretching is and writing about it, as well as listening to radiohead is. But life sometimes is about the interesting journey. If I hadn't gone to visit my pal on saturday who knows if I'd have stumbled across the outside leg twist ... gawd knows why I did it on his rug. But I did, and immediately it felt better. Of course there's been so much cartilage damage done that it's never going to be 'not a problem' but the idea of having a knee replacement when the skeleton from feet to neck caused the problem in the first place, or at least exacerbated it, has never appealed. New knee joint .. 2035,.. need another new knee joint. I have to say though, last friday I was close to throwing in the towel and contacting the surgeon in Bourge en Bresse my doctor made a consultation letter for.
