When that Sony amp rolled off some Tokyo production line we were still on the gold standard. Neil Armstrong

had stepped on the moon the year before [check dates, was produced between 70 and 72, ed] the US was going full out napalm on Vietnam, the twin towers had not yet been constructed or even thought of?, it was still 'Radio Row', a house cost 5k, and a half decent one at that good one, you could win at Spot the Ball if you believed in magic and a packet of chips in monaco cost no more than 500 francs. The Beatles had just gone their separate ways and CAnadian seal clubbers were doing good business, as were the Sony tech guys when they went whale hunting when on holiday from making amps.

Then came Richard Nixon and someone said to him, look Dicky ...

54 years later ...

It's not all bad news though because at least someone managed to invent 'the internet.' And prior to that a semi-conductor that allowed machines to have loads of 'states' on, off, thinking about it, wait a minute already!!

Imagine if we had this much debt, this much war, this much flu, this much inflation, this much general madness .. and we didn't have an internet!!!

But, would this much madness be possible without an internet?

er yes of course it would you assole.

But how can we know how can we prove it? I mean if we can't measure it without effecting the outcome.

Shut up and get on with something fking useful you bleeding idiot.
