Everyone should challenge every ticket. Collapse the system! I think the system is pretty near collapse anyway I have an appeal ongoing for one from last summer. Listed for an adjudicator hearing this July. If you appeal local authority ones (not speeding) they have to respond to the specific representations that you make (even if invalid). Most of the time the councils just send a stock letter denying your appeal. The adjudicator then have to find for the motorist, whatever the circumstances, because the council failed to respond correctly. Lots of help on these here https://www.ftla.uk/
