Iranian parliament approves closure of Strait of Hormuz The Iranian parliament has approved the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, a key global oil chokepoint through which 20% of global oil and gas demand flows. Iran’s top security body will now make the final decision on whether to close the shipping lane, state TV reported this afternoon. Such a move could temporarily restrict US warship’s ability to exit the Persian Gulf and lead to the disruption of global oil supply, causing a sharp spike in prices. Trump should / will be preparing to destroy the Iranian navy completely.
