i appreciate the musician ship but there never seems to be enough melody for me, which is funny as when Gabriel left he wrote lovely melodic stuff, and And thn here were 3 is full of 'good melodies' and of course when Phil Collins did Face Value, that had some real blinders on it, a balad that's well a cut above most, 'if leaving me is easy' https://youtu.be/FaSRkmPbyVk?si=-yEjlqWzzRN0BdO_ But the early stuff never hits the spot emotionally (though I like Steve Hacket, what's not to like)
