incredible story/ies. I've read of prisoners like him being sent to some outpost in the Gobi desert with literally nothing there: no food, no shelter. They dug caves and ate .. I don't recal. Portions of rice, I forget. Their job was to build something or other, but something stupid and pointless. 75% never came back (figure off top of head)
