This upload appears to be live. I've just given it a thumb up to see it I could, and it seems to have accepted
the input.
L'histoire ...
I filed a copyright dispute counter claim last week after uploading it and not heard back from them but noticed last night while uploading 'Jeff Lynne sweet buut too short guitar solo it had '10 views'. I've just checked the status and, 'Copyright — In dispute Copyright-protected content found. The copyright owner is reviewing your dispute.'
Hmmmmmm.
I originally uploaded the full-length of the VHS video on the 26th of feb 2024, as shown in the clapper reel intro. Back then it received an instant world-wide strike. I filed a counter claim, lost that, and so was given a red flag 'community strike' (3 strikes you loose the channel). Over several email exchanges with BBC Studios that followed I was told the problem was 'the length'. They couldn't tell me what the right length was before communication ground to a halt (ie they stopped replying).
Fast forward 18months and I decide to edit it down so 'it's not so long'.
I'm thinking, I'll just do the off stage stuff, but then want to add some Duncan Thicket as funny as fukc. Then for balance I add a sliver of Tony Ferrino, some Paul Calf, some Alan Partridge,. then think, I've got to add some of, first turn Pauline Calf, seeing as it's a) funny as fukc and b) she's the first turn,. so keep it liner, and go back and add her in where she (he) appeared.
Anyway, as soon as I upload get informed, 'worldwide ban'. I write to appeal saying, look here BBC Studios, I've shortened it, and if necessary I will add my own commentary throughout in a pointless and egotistical breakdown of 'why this comedy wouldn't get a look in the door today in 2025' (approx)
I've had no response and was wondering about what was going on. I thought maybe another waste of time, then ... arrive at last night.
So get it while you can if interested. ... but I think the fact I took all music out (inserted narration), that it's edited down 'to right length', that I threaten to do a critique of it all, and that I finished the counter claim mail with,... 'Please let it run', it may be allowed to remain. Perhaps also seeing the problems they have with the US president maybe they are distracted and will let it fly.
